I want to be a book cover designer! It looks like such an cool job. This HP cover is amazing - everything is so perfect - wish I knew who had designed it. I'm obsessed with the classic colour coded Penguin covers, I have this old one which I can't even bare to use in any of my work because it's precious. some experiments i did prior to my final piece. you roughly paint some patches of emulsion, lay down a page of newspaper, leave for about 30 seconds and then pull off. works like a tattoo transfer so obviously it comes out reverse. i've found it also works if you want a specific image to photocopy onto newsprint.

I went to Edinburgh last year to check out the art school and visit my friend. I took this disposable camera with me, handed it into tescos, only to be told on the collection day that their labs had gone bankrupt and they had no idea where my pictures were! Came back a couple of months later to check and miraculously they had them, and I was able to get them for free. Edinburgh is great the architecture is so amazing.
