Sofia Coppola

I just spent a good few months studying Sofia Coppola and her three main films for an A Level exam I recently did, so I thought I would share my favourite stills that I took. Even after all this time I'm still undecided about her... Obviously the visuals are amazing, but how much of this is down to her? Because of her father she was able to hire costume/set designers like the Oscar winning Milena Canonero (A Clockwork Orange) for Marie Antoinette, obviously the most visually rich of the three.

The Virgin Suicides, 1999 (my favourite)

Håkan Hellström

I've fallen in love with Håkan Hellström. Aparently he's really popular in Sweden.

He's so cute

Old School Glamour

One of my favourite Dazed&Confused editorials. I love the dusty, glizty colours and dreamy, soft photographs, it reminds me of the Blonde Redhead video I featured earlier...

Sebastien Tellier

Did anyone else enjoy Frances Eurovision entry as much I did? I was routing for France, Spain, Denmark or the UK to win. Of course, none of them came close - it doesn't really matter who sings for the country anymore...
My grandma was so sweet, she was convinced Denmark was going to win, and admitted to be in love with Simon Matthew, because of his dancing skills (aparently he had been on a Danish version of 'Dancing with the Stars' or something).

I loved Sebastien cause he was just totally out of place with all the other overly groomed and plucked, greasy male singers (UHHHH NAMELY THE WINNER) and because he sort of looks like Jesus.
